(SENIOR) CONSULTANT DATA ENGINEERING & SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

• You will support our clients in designing, implementing, and operating modern data platforms and data management solutions in production
• In your role you will design data warehouse and lakehouse architectures from the initial idea through to live operation, bringing a clear understanding of clean software development
• Part of your responsibilities will be developing and operating robust ETL/ELT pipelines, not only with AI support, but also with the necessary focus on monitoring and reliable error handling
• You will structure and model data and implement high-performance data structures for analytics and BI applications, from the raw data layer through to the final data model
• In your capacity you will implement data quality and governance pragmatically, creating transparency and traceability across data flows
• Working closely with business departments, you will gather requirements in workshops and translate them into robust technical concepts that you or your colleagues will implement
• As a reliable point of contact for our clients, you will create enthusiasm for topics around data engineering and business intelligence

• A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, data/analytics, industrial engineering, business administration with a focus on data management, or a comparable qualification
• At least three years of practical experience in data and project environments, ideally in consulting
• Implementation experience in at least one BI tool, ideally Power BI, Qlik Sense, or SAC, as well as a good understanding of modern BI solutions
• Data modelling, the development of ETL processes, and structured data processing have been a regular part of your project experience, including in the context of SAP ERP / SAP S/4HANA
• A solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and modern lakehouse architectures, as well as initial experience with analytics and BI setups
• Experience with specification-driven development when creating ETL pipelines and BI reports using AI tools, while ensuring quality and completeness 
• A passion for consulting, a structured way of working, and teamwork
• Very good German and good English skills
